'Pattern Recognition' to become a film

According to William Gibson's blog, Peter Weir might be directing a film version of William Gibson's latest novel 'Pattern Recognition'.

I really enjoyed the book and I think it's his best work since Neuromancer... and Peter Weir is not too shabby a director either!

The curious incident of the dog in the night-time

To continue with the theme of what I'm currently reading, I bought a copy of "The curious incident of the dog in the night-time" on the weekend and read three-quarters of the way through on Monday (don't you just love public holidays).
Cover
It is a lovely, poignant story as seen through the eyes of a 15-year-old autistic boy named Christopher. The technique of using Christopher as the supposed author of the book is very clever as it gives a strange, detached view of the modern world and the confusing reality of human relationships.
I can't wait to finish reading it (which will almost certainly be later today)
